Yoga, nature and the Himalayas throughout this trip bring you an experience that you will never forget. You can simply call it your trek of a lifetime. Rugged Trails Nepal 8 Days Mardi Himal Yoga Trekking starts and finishes in Pokhara and it's the short yoga trek in Nepal.

What you will find more amazing is the elevation gain without trouble in just a few days. Start the trek from about 1,000 metres above sea level and reach 4,500 metres at Mardi Himal Base Camp in just five days, which you can do nowhere else in the Annapurna region of the Himalaya. And imagine the joy of practicing yoga and meditation in this wonderful natural surroundings. It’s just pure bliss.

About the Mardi Himal Yoga Trek

The first few days of lush forest walks with occasional yet magnificent views of the snow-capped mountains are to experience a spiritually uplifting, peaceful nature walk in the middle hills that stretch parallel to the Himalayan peaks. The walk traverses a peaceful trail mostly through rhododendron forest in addition to several other trees like chestnut, schima wallichii, etc. It feels a different world to listen to the chirping of birds, buzzing of cicadas and whistling of breeze while walking through a lush forest.

Deeply immersed in the practice of yoga, meditation and breathing help to make the trip even more wonderful. The first few days of the nature walk are highly rewarded with breathtaking views of the mountains in Annapurna range, from Fishtail to Annapurna South and much more in between. Once you reach the viewpoint and walk towards the base camp, you can see the deep and beautiful gorge towards Annapurna Base Camp, which is much lower than where you will be standing. The final ridge walk to the base camp brings unprecedented Himalayan views to you, where you can mix some yoga postures; sit in meditation, and practice some breathing to make the moment touch your heart and leave a lasting memory. Check Mardi Himal Yoga Trek video for views and the places.

  • Beautifully organized 4 days mardi himal trek

    - Tania Marie, Australia

I had a great trip and we had nice clear views which am grateful for. Indra (my guide) was great, he obviously has a lot of experience, let me go my pace, and seemed to always be looking out for me. Very attentive! He was really helpful I felt very comfortable trekking with him. Very knowledgeable, keeping an eye on the view, etc so I could go out and get a good picture of that kind of thing.

  • Mardi Himal Yoga Trek best yoga trek ever!

    - Emma, Austria

We were in small groups of friend and were looking for a short yoga retreat in Nepal. All we were looking for is a peaceful mountain and the place where we can meditate. We were confused which trip to choose because of too many yoga trek packages for the same area and somewhere longer too. Rugged Trails Nepal Everest Yoga trek video was impressive and we started talking with Nirajan. I felt like right on the spot with the right person, he immediately suggest us for Mardi Himal Yoga Trek. From the beginning, he was friendly and sharing all the information which were really helpful. He sends us plenty of pictures of Mardi Trek routes to make sure the place is beautiful and peaceful. All of us were so excited after seeing the pictures and the way he was explaining the place. He was so easy and available all the time and happily answered hundreds of our silly questions. Thank you Nirajan!

I actually like the trip plan because Mardi Himal trek route is soo mixed with different terrain and the climate. Amazing mountains and peaceful walk. The distance of tea houses was no longer than 4-5 hours which was another beautiful part of this trip. We had enough time for Morning yoga, meditation, and laughter time. Seriously the team of Nirajan was just amazing, Dipak was funny and giving a smile even he is was tired. Surojan was perfect yoga master thank you Surojan. Singing dancing and drinking with porters was another memorial part of this trip which we will never forget. All of us were quite anxious because a group of girls and all the staffs were boys but Nirajan assure about the safety and he promised to treat us family members. He welcomed us and gave us comfort before heading to the mountains. He is so kind and caretaker and making sure everything is good. Nirajan keep up your good spirits, you have a great team. We will be back again for sure!

Little suggestion please try to change one day plan instead of staying in Low Camp Badal danda is more suitable and the view is just amazing. People will love this place.

  • Great Yoga Trek to Mardi Himal

    - Tereza, Czech Republic

Really a good trip, well organized on such a short notice from us. Had lots of fun, meet great people. Learned some yoga and breathing exercise, learned lots about the culture. Surjon did great, gave us lots of information. Organized all food and accommodation, yoga was amazing, had good laughs with him. Weather was cloudy most days, clear in the morning and awesome in the morning at the highest point (Mardi Upper ViewPoint). I would suggest Rugged Trails Nepal to make a paper copy of the itinerary with the guide. I just like to know but had no internet in the mountains to check online. An extra night at High Camp would be great, just in case if the weather gets cloudy. Surjon is a super fast walker!, couldn't quite keep up with him when he was at the front.
