In the Annapurna region still, we can call Khopra Danda as off beaten trails because of fewer tea houses at some point. The short Khopra Danda Trek starts after driving from Pokhara to Ghandruk village. We are skipping a day walk from Nayapul to Ghandruk because we will be walking by the roadside. To make the trip shorter and to skip the dusty and muddy roads we will take a jeep drive up to Ghandruk village and then trek to Tadapani. The drive will be quite exciting because the roads are bumpy and rugged. On this trek, we are completely skipping the roads and trek from Tadapani, Bayeli Kharka, Swanta Khopra Danda, Swanta, Ghorepani to Ulleri will be proper trekking routes. From Ulleri we will drive back to Pokhara Instead of walking by the roadside.

Best Time to Trek Short Khopra Danda in 2023
The best season to trek to Khopra Danda depends on a number of factors, including your personal preferences and the lenght of your vacation. In general, the best trekking season in Nepal is from September to November and from March to May, when the weather is relatively dry and mild.
During the autumn season (Mid September to November End), the weather is generally sunny and warm during the day, with clear skies and cool nights. This is a great time to trek in the Khopra Danda Annapurna region, as the views are often clear and the trails are dry.
The spring season (March to May) is another good time to trek to Short Khopra Danda. The weather is warmer, with clear skies and pleasant temperatures. The rhododendron flowers are in bloom, adding to the beauty of the trek.
The Winter season (December End to February) It is possible to trek to Khopra Danda (ridge), but the weather can be very cold, with temperatures dropping below freezing at night. The trails may also be slippery and the views may be obscured by fog. The trek plan might be change at the last minute because of the heavy snowfall.
Due to the rain, the monsoon season (June to August) is typically not the greatest time to trek to Khopra Danda, but when the weather clears up after the rain, the vistas are just breathtaking. Be prepared to encounter a large number of leeches along the journey.
