    Pokhara Drive to Ulleri and Trek to Ghorepani

You'll hike through enchanting rhododendron forests, past small streams, and perhaps even spot donkeys carrying supplies along the path. After a lunch stop at Nangge Thanti, you'll continue to Ghorepani, a village whose name translates to "horse water." Ghorepani sits at an elevation of 2,860m.

    Upon arrival, you'll settle into a comfortable lodge, such as the "Snow View Lodge and Restaurant," which offers captivating views of Mount Dhaulagiri. If the weather is clear, your guide may suggest a short 45-minute hike to Poon Hill for a memorable sunset, though you will visit the summit again the next morning for sunrise.

    Wake up early, usually around 5 a.m., to hike with your guide to Poon Hill. This early start ensures you'll be on the summit in time to catch the spectacular sunrise. The trek is a steady uphill climb on stairs, taking about 45 minutes to an hour. If you have knee problems, trekking poles are highly recommended to help with the ascent.

    From the top of Poon Hill, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views. Watch the sun illuminate the majestic peaks of Mount Fishtail, the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, and Tukuche Peak, all set against a backdrop of stunning landscapes.

    After enjoying the view, you'll hike back down to Ghorepani for a well-deserved breakfast. Following your meal, the trek continues toward Tadapani. The path starts with a slight uphill climb to Deurali, after which it becomes relatively flat and then descends. The final stretch to Tadapani is another uphill section that takes about 45 minutes to an hour.
