Take this once-in-a-lifetime Himalayan adventure! Get in touch with yourself and have a positive outlook on this beautiful life of yours. Broaden your horizons, live like the locals, and have an eye-opening experience. Those who take the Annapurna Base Camp Trek look at their own life differently, from a humbler, more worldly perspective. There truly is nothing better for the soul than spending a week or two in the Himalayas, connecting with yourself and learning about the local culture.

Trekking is more than just good exercise and awe-inspiring mountain views. It brings people out of their comfort zone and into a place where they can grow as a person. You can read about the Himalaya and its rich diversity of cultures for years, but one authentic personal experience is much more valuable than reading or watching movies. Traveling, in general, makes you humbler, more empathetic, and having a greater sense of connectedness with the world. By the time you return from the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, you realize that the investment of time and money is much more valuable than a new phone or gadget.

So, pack your bags and join us for a life-changing trek up to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 meters). Find yourself in the heart of the mountains with a rejuvenated spirit, a clear mind, and a fresh perspective on life. Step by step, breath by breath, the mountain trail empties your mind of any negative thoughts and puts you in the present moment. The trail is medium difficulty and is perfect for the solo soul-searching trekker or all ages.

There are dozens of reasons why people want to go trekking. For some, it is about conquering a physical or mental obstacle. For others, it is about capturing some amazing photos.  Whatever their goal is, though, there is one common theme among everyone. Trekking temporarily breaks the mundane routine of your everyday life and lifts your spirits.

The spectacular trek begins from Nayapul after a scenic drive from Pokhara. Hike through the terraced hills and above flowing streams. Let the sound of the running water put you at peace. As the trail ascends, we find ourselves surrounded by colourful rhododendron trees – a true spectacle during the springtime.
The first highlight of the trek is reaching Poon Hill (3210 meters / 10,532 feet). The best time to visit is early in the morning to watch the pink and gold sunrise behind the Himalayas. The sun lights up Annapurna I (8091 meters), Hiunchuli (6441 meters), Machhapucchre (6993 meters), Dhaulagiri (8167 meters), Manaslu (8156 meters) and several more soaring peaks.

Spend time with local Gurung, Magar, and other mixed ethnic groups during your days on the trail. There is a lot to learn about them and their laid-back pace of life. Finally, ascend to Annapurna Base Camp, where you are enclosed by a natural amphitheatre of majestic peaks. Feel your eyes widen and your jaw drop as you make the final stretch from Machhapuchhre Base Camp to Anapurna Base Camp.

From here, we head back down to Nayapul via Jhinu Hot Springs (a muscle and mind relaxer!) and take a bus back to Pokhara. Spend a night in Pokhara unwinding and wandering around the city. Lakeside is a must-see. Slowly walk along the shore of Phewa Lake and if the sky is clear, the mountains are still visible. Kick back, relax, and free your mind of any frustrations and worries you might have. Live in the moment!

Take a trip to Annapurna Base Camp and if nothing else, you will gain a new perspective on your life. See your personal daily routine through a new lens as you learn about the everyday practices of the villagers. In Ghandruk, you will see typical Gurung lifestyle and learn about their rich culture.

Best Time to Travel
Trekking is possible throughout the year, but Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November) provide the best weather.  During the Spring, there is a bit more color and the rhododendrons are blooming, and in the Autumn months, the skies are generally clearer.  During the monsoon season, though, there are fewer tourists. Each season has its perks. The Annapurna Base Camp Therapy Trek requires little fitness or acclimatization to avoid acute mountain sickness.
