Our Yoga in the mountains of Nepal is a spiritual awakening journey that goes beyond the typical tourist experience. Uplift your spirit with a peaceful trek on the Mardi Himal trail. The peace of mind from trekking in the Himalayas combined with daily yoga is liberating beyond words. Grow further into yourself each and every day. Practicing several different forms of yoga and meditation in several different spots sharpens your consciousness and deepens your knowledge of the practice.
In each place we visit, you will be one of the few (if any) foreigners. This solitude will give you a more meaningful experience with both the locals and yourself.

During the Mardi Himal trekking, we begin each day with meditation, pranayama, and asana practice. Breathe in the fresh air while soaking up some magnificent mountain views. At the highest point of the Mardi Himal Trek, at 4500 meters, we practice yoga in the presence of some of the world’s highest peaks. Sit in amazement at Mardi Himal, Macchapucchre (6993 meters), Hiunchuli (6441 meters), Baraha Shikhar (7647 meters), Singu Chuli (6501 meters) Annapurna I (8090 meters), and Annapurna South (7219 meters).

Then, we stay in a Buddhist monastery in Pokhara. Feel refreshed and self-reflective after the memorable trek. Be present as you meditate with monks and further sharpen your consciousness. You will never forget this authentic religious experience of staying in a monastery. For the next two nights, we stay at the Trishuli River Resort as we continue practicing yoga each day.

Back to Kathmandu to test the balance of our bodies and minds in the craziness of Kathmandu. Our yoga spots in the city, though, fill our souls with peace. Also, we are still teeming with natural and spiritual energy from the Mardi Himal Trek and the monastery stay.
Spend one night in a homestay in the Kathmandu Valley to have a real, valuable experience with a Nepali family. Learn about their day to day lifestyle and their way of life. They might share their beliefs on spirituality as you share yours. Eat what they eat and live like they live for a day.

The tour concludes with a visit to Namobuddha Monastery – a most perfect spot to end the Yoga Tour. Legend has it that on this hilltop, Buddha was faced with a starving tiger. Upon seeing the tiger, Buddha compassionately offered his own flesh to feed the tiger. Because of this, Namobuddha is a sacred pilgrimage site. We stay with monks at the awe-inspiring Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery. Elevate your mind and spirit through the practice of meditation and yoga in the monastery.
Do not miss out on the Yoga Tour in Nepal! The teachings that you receive on this trip will stay with you forever. Its spiritual and cultural value cannot be put into words. Deepen your understanding of the nature and culture of Nepal, while further developing yourself. Join the tour at any time of the year. Ask us for more details.
