Kalinchwok is a virgin trekking trail for tourists; however, it's a famous pilgrimage destination for Nepalese people. Kalinchwok is a beautiful hillside (3800m) located to the north of Kathmandu and near to the Tibetan border. In the past few years, Kalinchwok has focused trekking routes for foreigners from Nepal Tourism Board, Trekking Agency Association of Nepal (TAAN), and local peoples from the Dolakha district.

Kalinchwok is easily accessing by roads; it is about 147 Km from Kathmandu valley. Kalinchwok is named from the Hindu Goddess (Kali) known as Kalinchwok Bhagwati. Sunkoshi (Gold River) and Tamakoshi (Copper River) also originate from here.

On this Trekking, we can see the Rolwaling range and the world's highest various mountain ranges including Annapurna, Lamjung, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Shisha Panga, Langtang, Dorjee Lakya, Jugal Himal, Amabamori, Mt. Gaurishanker, Numbur Himal, and Everest ranges.

Kalinchwok trek will give you an amazing experience of culture and lifestyle of Tamang, Sherpa, Brahmin, beautiful remote villages and rare chance to get up close and personal with the Thami people (only can see in this region). Thami people are a small and little-heard community, offers you a rare glimpse into a unique lifestyle of their culture. The National flower of Nepal Rhododendron (Ligurians), and national bird Pheasant (Danfe) can be seen during our trek. Kalinchwok is also famous for different kinds of Rhododendrons and a good view of Kathmandu at night.

For Nepalese and Indian people we organize 2 Nights 3 days Kalinchowk Tour packages, contact us for special group rates and services.
