So-called Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek, is it really Fancy and Luxury as it described? Well, it’s not fancy but it can be luxury at some point and places! Some Lodges such as Yeti Mountain home, Everest lodges are more comfortable and look fancy after seeing other local lodges. These kinds of Lodges are quite pricy but worth to spend a couple of nights with their warm hospitality. Rooms are not heated or not like Swiss Alps resorts but more attractive with their gardens, views, western bathrooms, comfortable beds.

    So what actually is Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek?

    We call this Get what you paid for! Your trip starts from Kathmandu with the Luxury Resorts which actually luxury and can meet luxury standards. Most of the things are covered on this trip than regular trips. Small bills such as Entrance fees in the cities, tea, and coffee, hot showers included on the price during the trek. Fluent English or your own speaking language guide will be leading the trip from day 1st till to the last day. All the team will be paid well which is another fact of this trek and you will receive the proper information about the places, people, and cultures.

    During the trek, you will be staying at the best lodges as we mentioned above and get the best services among others. The real fact after passing Dingboche Village service standard might not meet because of infrastructure which other companies are mentioning (everything and everywhere luxury). Rugged Trails Nepal will make pre-booking to all the lodges before with the best lodges among others.

    Foods will be provided at the lodges and can choose from the menu as you like. Dinner and breakfast will be at the same lodges where we spent a night but lunch will be on the way which will handle by our Guides. The food will be hygienic and the guide will be taking care and suggest the best one.

      My Rugged Trails EBC trek was one of the most amazing experiences I've had. I did a solo trek to EBC and Gokyo Lake. My guide was very experienced and knowledgeable, I always felt safe and taken care of. Rugged trails plan the whole trip very well. I went at the end of the season in May which meant there was less people on the trails and in the tea houses which was great. It was also starting to warm up slightly although we still got to see some snow. The scenery is so beautiful as it changes from the lush green pine forests and rivers with the most clear water to barren landscapes surrounded by mountains covered in snow, scattered with ancient Tibetan scriptures carved into stone and rocky outcrops the entire way really made it a special experience and made me feel so grateful to be able to see this part of the world. It is like another world, where there is no cars or motorised transport at all, so it gives the feeling of going back in time. It's not always easy but definitely worth the effort and I highly recommend anyone who is interested in doing it to go and do it while you can. 

      Rugged trails make everything so easy for you, so you just get to go along on the journey and enjoy it. I would highly recommend going through Rugged Trails, their experience and knowledge of Nepal makes it a really enjoyable experience.
