  • Day: 1
    Arrive Kathmandu upon arrival you will be met by our representative and transfer to hotel.

    Evening, transfer to Local restaurant for Nepali Cultural program and dinner. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

    • Day: 2
      Kathmandu - Sightseeing. Visa and trip preparation day.

      Am: After breakfast the Sightseeing tour of Patan Durbar Square. The city is full of Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples with fine bronze gateways, guardian deities, and wonderful carvings. Noted for its craftsmen and metal workers, it is known as the city of artists. Pm: Sightseeing of the major places in and around Kathmandu city which holds the palaces of the Malla and Shah Kings who ruled over the city. Continue the trip to Swoyambhunath. This place offers a majestic view of the entire Kathmandu valley. Stupa of Swoyambhunath epitomizes Buddhism. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

        Kathmandu fly to Lhasa.

        After breakfast, you will be transferred to International Airport to fly to Lhasa. Upon arrival in Lhasa, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest day free to get accustomed to Tibetan climate and high altitude. Overnight at the hotel in Lhasa.

          Lhasa Tour.

          After breakfast sightseeing tour to Potala Palace, which is located north of the middle section of Beijing Road. The Potala Palace is built on the high land uplifting of the flat land. The palaces were built at the time of Songtsan Ganmpo in the 7th century. The trip continues to Sera Monastery. It is built on the slope of Tatipu Mountain. It was named “Sera” due to the flat that lots of roses were once found in the mountains. “Sera” in the Tibetan Language means Rose. The Sera Monastery is dedicated to the Gelugpa or Yellow Hat Sect, a branch of Tibetan Buddhism, founded by Tsong Khapa. Jamchen Chojey, one of Tsong Khapa’s disciples built the monastery in 1419 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Your Next destination is Norbulingka – Located in the western suburbs of Lhasa city. “Norbu” in the Tibetan language means treasure and “Linka” means a park with beautiful trees and flowers. The park was begun by the 7th Dalai Lama beginning in 1755. The Norbulingka Park and Summer Palace were completed in 1783 under Jampel Gyantso, the Eight Dalai Lama, on the outskirts of Lhasa and became the summer residence during the reign of the 8th Dalai Lama.             Lhasa tour.

            Sightseeing Tour of Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Monastery, and Barkhor street. The Drepung monastery located 5 km on the slope of Mt. Ganpoi Utse in the northwest of Lhasa. The Drepung Monastery was built in 1416, which belongs to the biggest monastery among the six monasteries of the Geluk Sect. The Jokhang Temple situated in the heart of old Lhasa, it houses Tibet’s most precious religious relic, a golden Shankyamuni Buddha which was brought as a gift by the Chinese Princess Wen Cheng on the occasion of her wedding to the Tibetan King, Songtsen Gompa. The Barkhor is the oldest street in Lhasa as well as the center of old Lhasa and remains very traditional. It is a place where Tibetan culture, economy, religion, and art are assembled. Overnight at the hotel in Lhasa.

            • Day: 6
              Around Lhasa.

              Sightseeing of Ganden Monastery which is located about 60 Km within the boundary of Taktse County to the east of Lhasa. The Ganden Monastery is one of the three largest monasteries as well as the first of six monasteries of the Gelug Sect. Later return to Lhasa. Overnight at the hotel in Lhasa.

              • Day: 7
                Lhasa fly to Kathmandu.

                After breakfast transfer to the airport to fly to Kathmandu. Upon Arrival in Kathmandu meet and escorted to the hotel. Rest day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

                • Day: 8
                  Final Departure.

                  After breakfast, you are free till you will be met by our representative and transferred to Tribhuwan International Airport for your onward destination.
